Mount the Appliance

About this task

You can mount the appliance in a 19-inch rack using the rack mount, or on a tabletop or shelf for secure use.
Note

Note

Wear an anti-static wrist strap when you handle the appliance to avoid damaging the device or the components.

Do one of the following options:

Procedure

  1. Option 1:Attach rack-mount brackets on each side of the unit with provided bracket screws.
    1. Mount the appliance in the rack.
  2. Option 2:Mount the appliance on a tabletop or shelf.
    1. Attach the four rubber feet.
      The feet add 5mm (0.20 inches) to the appliance height.
    2. Place the appliance securely on a tabletop or shelf.
    3. Leave adequate space around the appliance.
      The appliance requires a minimum of 6 cm (2.5 inches) of free space for proper ventilation.
